SORRY i don't know anything about this separate amp thing. MY receiver is a sony str de985 it has jacks for a 2nd room is that where i would hook up a 2nd amp. THANKS
How do you hook up a separate amp to a 6.1 channel a/v receiver.Do you just run the speaker cables from receiver to the amp then to the speakers. Or do you run the amp to the receiver then to the speakers? And do the 6 channel amps cost much THANKS
I have hardwood floors is it better to put a piece of carpet under the sub or a harder surface like brick or just nothing at all? SUB FIRES DOWN THANKS
KYLE I just bought one have they fixed the problems on the new ones or are they lemons.I read your post after i ordered it there is a few more stories just like yours out there.I think iam stuck with it inless i eat the shipping cost. But you did like it did it sound better than the saw-40?
My receiver has a crossover setting for each speaker iam not sure what to do with it?There's no crossover setting for the sub is large and small the only setting i need for that?
I ordered the jbl pb12 sub without reading the bad reveiws first. What would you do eat the cost of shipping or take the chance that they have fixed the problems. It would $70 for nothing or $250 for a forty pound lemon.Has anyone bought one of these lately.
I see most of the guys are filling the saw40s with poly fill.I want to try that on my little 60 watt awia sub.Are they all alike or is the sawm40 special where you can fill it with no problems. What iam concerned about is that i open the back of the thing and all the parts go flying out and not...
Does anyone know who has the sony sawm40 in stock most places list them as out of stock i know they are discontinued. What model replaced them and is it any better. I have a 60 watt awia sub now is it better to have two subs.
DAVID IS THERE A LED LIGHT THAT GOES ON. THE REASON I ASK IS THAT ON MY SUB THE LIGHT GOES OFF IF THERE IS NO SIGNAL GOING IT AND THOUGHT IT WAS OFF BUT IT WAS IN STANDBY SO I WOULD PUSH THE BUTTON AGAIN AND TURN IT OFF THINKING I WAS TURNING IT ON.
HEY THANKS to both of you. I have to make custom stands beause the s=38 lay sideways. You made yours jeff, those are nice.Iam kinda leaning toward PVC pipe thats what some others did.But iam still open to steel ideas.
To me the EZest way to run speaker cables is to cut a groove in the drywall But you need a GOOD drywall taper to repair where it was cut into.Iam a taper i know it can be done.
