    What is my weakest link

That is the best way to get more bucks :), but, I guess I wouldn't have time to use the system. Yeah, I have been attracted to the low prices of HDTVs these days. Idea of Adire rava along with fronts upgrade sounds good too. Great I've got lots of ideas now.

    What is my weakest link

Yes, I use DVD player for music as well. Not a great DVD player, it is a Zenith DVB312. I'm happy with it since it supports all media and file formats.

    What is my weakest link

That is very true :) . I guess once you get to this forum you catch the bug, can't help. All the suggestions were really nice. I guess Sub and TV rules now, I will look for an SVS, and then, may be upgrade mains for better music experience and then the TV. Looks like I will upgrade sub...

    What is my weakest link

Thanks again guys for the suggestions. I do not think my Sony does raster compensation (I don't know much either about this term :) ), because, it is a very basic 27" TV. Looks like SVS is the way to go, I'm more leaning towards a music oriented system than a movie one.

    What is my weakest link

Thank you Neil and DanaA. It is interesting to note that sub is a good candidate for upgrade. While posting this, I was thinking it would be receiver, since it has only 80w power, I thought upgrading to a 100w receiver would be better. Yes, TV is definitely one of the upgrade candidate, but, it...

    Crossover question for Titan-Atom owners

OK, I tried with changing to 80Hz while listening to my favorite music CD. It sounded better when crossover was set at 100Hz. I felt that sound clarity was less at 80Hz. I wonder which Paradigm series speakers would sound better at a crossover of 80Hz vis-a-vis 100Hz.

    Crossover question for Titan-Atom owners

Hi All, After long wait I finally got my HT setup a week ago. My setup is Denon AVR 1603, Titans Fronts, Atoms Rear and PDR10 Sub. Although the specs for Titans and Atoms say that their low frequency can be 50Hz, taking cue from recommendation from my sales guy and reading from some other...

    Sony SA-WM40 v/s PDR-10

Hi everyone, I'm getting Paradigm Titans fronts and Atoms rear with CC-170 as center channel for my HT. Can anyone compare Sony WM40 Sub with PDR-10 of Paradigm ? I'm considering PDR-10 and also WM40, but couldn't audition WM40. PDR-10 was pretty good. But, there is quite a bit price...

Newbie- advice required for HT under $1000

ok, I'm having little difficulty finding a good price and auditioning place for the Paradigms. Meanwhile thinking about Acoustic Research, AR-PS2262 to be specific, as main speakers. Anyone thinks AR would also match with Denon 1603 and Sony WM 40 ? AR speakers are easy to find and quite few...

Newbie- advice required for HT under $1000

I'm very glad I found this forum. Finally posting my RFA (Request For Advice) after going through the New comer's primer and various other threads on this subject. Please excuse me on any jargon mix-up. Unfortunately, I own a Bose LS 8, and planning to sell it and replace with a non-Bose setup...
