i am not aware of the free 5 mail in's...i bought the panny and got the 5 in the box....does anyone know of the other 5??

i went to a friends house and was able to successfully download the 2.2 firmware, put it on to cd and install it...my player now has 2.2....

well i called panasonic for the 2.2 update..and they told me that it has not been released yet in the usa...she said that the website that has that firmware update is for japan...didn't make sense to me because it asks what region your from...anyway no cd will be sent to me because they claim...

i emailed panasonic requesting a firmware update disc a few days ago and still no response...has anyone had any luck getting a disc....i am unable to burn a cd on my computer....any suggestions would be appreciated

i just bought the dmp-bd10a blu-ray player from best buy..my player has 2.0 firmware...i noticed that some of you members got a disc from panasonic instead of downloading it...how do you request a disc??? i don't see it anywhere on their website...thanks...btw...having alot of fun with this...

went to best buy yesterday and low and behold they had 2 panny's in stock...the salesman weren't even aware that they had any..i made the guy do a search on his computer...anyway i'm very very pleased with it...setup was very easy....i have it hooked up to component w/5.1 analog, as i don't have...

thanks jaxon....i guess there is no way to achieve 7.1 from a 5.1 receiver... i have the lexicon mc-8...no hdmi...i thought about selling it....but i really love this receiver..i would like to hear from other forum members that own lexicons...

i have what might seem to some to be a dumb question..but here goes anyway...i know the new panasonic has 7.1 analog outs...what if your receiver only has 5.1 analog outs???

my opinion is very simple: bottom line if you can't afford a small hike in your electric bill then you can't afford a big screen tv....another option is to throw away your wifes hair dryer!!

please bear in mind that when someone states that a receiver or speakers or whatever sound better or are better...it is ONLY their opinion....i also have that receiver and am more then thrilled with it...its a very user friendly solid receiver...compare and review a few and make up your own mind..
