Yes it is doing a matrix. I have the HK 525 and I have the 7.1 setup and it also says DTS+NEO:6.

I believe the reason it says DTS/NEO6 is because you are using a 7.1 setup, correct? It is decoding the DTS and mixing it with NEO6 to make use of the two rear channels.

thanks john, that is correct. It did it in one other movie (one hour photo). Everything else is fine. As a matter of fact I just watched star trek nemesis last night and it sounded great!!!:)

John, my reciever (HK 525) does not have a sub limiter. I calibrated by ear. Even so with the sub gain only at half and the sub output level on the reciever at -5 why would it bottom out. It was not that loud at all, the master volume was only at -28. Should I lower the sub output level on the...

I had the same clipping sound myself. It was on certain scenes. really loud passagges in movies. My old yamaha reciever didnt do that. So I thought it was my onkyo TX-SR500 so I upgraded to the TX-SR600. It still happened. So I thought it was my speakers and I changed them. Guess what?:frowning...
