@Brian_L_Kleis: I think you went way over the the top. If you can't accept their price-policy(as idiotic as it may be), don't shop there anymore. But please, don't make such a fuss over it. It's not like you're entitled to a price reduction. :rolleyes
Well, I think Paramount has improved a lot in the recent years. If I remember the great Star Trek 2-Disc releases, Indiana Jones Trilogy(funny, no one mentioned it), Shogun TV-Mini-Series(I love them dearly for that. Hai, Toranaga-sama! :D), Once upon a time in the west(what a good looking...
@RobertM.Fleming: I actually have two of the three titles of the needed category in my collection. One flew over the cuckoos nest - Einer flog über das Kuckucksnest Once upon a time in America - Es war einmal in Amerika By the way, I already have the dvd's in my wishlist. I put them...
Well, to be honest, the german edition leaves nothing for me to be desired(technical- and extra-wise). Resident Evil isn't a movie I need an audio commentary of, not to mention 2 of them. :)

Does Warner release Pan&Scan versions of their Special-Editions? The JFK SE's listed at dvdsoon.com only have pan&scan instead of the OAR. I am a bit confused. :frowning:
Besides, I do favor the idea of myself having full control over the content stored on the media in question. And now here's some friendly advice to our friends over at dvd-forum: CUT THE CRAP! :)
How is it, that those funny guys over at dvd-forum so keenly defy reality? Is it something with their heads or is it purely drug related? There are not nearly enough broadband subscribers to justify this most silly kind of idea. But then again, after having too much alcohol I might even...
I own approx. 30-40 used DVD's. That's less then 10% of my collection. I never had any bad luck with them. Well, i don't like scratches, but i don't mind the odd fingerprint. I guess, in the eyes of some people, that would make my collection inferior but i just don't give a rats ass about their...
i strongly recommend buying the Uk-SE from Universal. Best Transfer so far, plus a very good (and as mentioned afore, lengthy) documentary. play.com sells it for a measly 6.49 British Pounds(approx. 11 US$). Only thing is, you need codefree equipment. :)
well, i think there's no sense in buying vhs when you can have a dvd-player for half the price of a vcr(at least over here in germany). not to mention the huge difference in quality. :)
