    Noise in Speakers: Hum

(Trying to get the picture). So all is right until you plug in the TV connection and then HUM? Are you sure (sorry for asking) to connect a regular Stereo-Out from your TV to the receiver input? How do you use your TV speakers as nothing more than a center speaker? Cees, Yep, hum goes away...

    Noise in Speakers: Hum

A "tremendous" hum signals a missing ground connection in the audio signal. How exactly do you connect your Hitachi to your stereo? What outputs/inputs do you connect and with what? What is your "stereo", BTW? Are your TV and your stereo set on the same power outlet (or at least close)? Cees...

When I connect my Hitachi 57wux20b to my stereo a temendous hum emits from my stereo speakers. I had the same problem with my 29" Hitachi and the only way I could over come this problem on the old TV was to turn off the internal speakers and connect the stereo via the external speaker...

    Sears Done did me Wrong

Man you might be right, perhaps he was doing a form of bait and switch. But I doubt it since he offered the Hitachi 51UWX20B ($2199), the Toshiba 50H82 ($1999), and the Sony KP-51WS50 ($2199) for the same price as the 46" Sony ($1899).

    Sears Done did me Wrong

Dan, I'm not surprised that the 46" Sony is still on the market. I think the Sears salesman is new and doesn't know what he is doing. At any rate, what he does is to access the Sears database and queries it for the Sony and gets a message 'not in stock'. The system does not allow him to order an...

    Sears Done did me Wrong

Two weeks ago I purchased the Sony KP-46WT500 cause it has very good reviews. Last weekend Sears delivered a broken up KP-46WT500 and of course they took it back to the warehouse. I called the salesman and he said he would deliver another one 15 Feb. Well, I'm pretty sure he did not order...
