I got my copy of this set yesterday. Although the packaging is OK, it still looks weird next my previous seasons. It's the size of regular DVD: It's actually packaged in a regular-sized amaray, with some small inserts that's able to hold 4 discs without using hardly any space at all. The other 2...
Did Warner ever release more of these bonus DVDs? I remember it was reported that they would include 15 bonus DVDs in total, but I haven't heard anything after this first wave.
Hi I remember reading about Paramount delaying future 7th Heaven releases, but does anyone know it we'll see more? Considering they announced it at one time, one should thing they'd prepared it. Have Paramount/CBS talked anything about future Touched by an Angel releases? I would very much...
I've seen a few DVD releases of the the movie Gunfight, starring Johnny Cash and Kirk Douglas. But every one seem to be 1.33:1 aspect ratio. Does anyone know the original format for this movie, as IMDB doesn't have any information on this.
I just got mye Classic Musicals Collection, but Easter Parade was a single disc release. No mentioning of a 2 disc set on the cover, and the cover pictured on the box set, shows no 2 disc banner on the Easter Parade coverart. My set is Canadian. Could Warner have skipped the bonus disc on...
There is 3 DVDs out in the US (totaling 39 episodes, 13 episodes on each DVD). They can be found for $4-$5 per volume. They're released by Platinum, so don't expect much from this cheap, public domain company.
I've been waiting on Matlock for years, although I think I've watched most of the episodes already. Maybe Paramount will consider it if the "Andy Griffith Show" DVDs sell well. *cross fingers*
Strange about "A Man Called Flinstones". My regular retailer lists it as in stock, and have already reserved a copy for me at their warehouse. And in addition to that, their supplier also have stock. I will e-mail them about this, and post back. Looks like some copies may have slipped out.
The Gene Dietch cartoons was distributed by MGM in the US, so Warner should have the rights for those as well (and the Chuck Jones years, of course). They also have the rights for the later Hanna-Barbera cartoons. So there should not be any right issues.
I see the company behind the Australian release, is Magna Pacific. They're the same company that released the complete Nelvana cartoons with Care Bears. (12 volumes in total). Therefore I'm positive there will be more volumes to come (if it sells satisfactory enough, that is). I will at least...
Check this out: amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00064MWEW/qid%3D1098215408/701-8292790-7793124 dvdsoon.com/show-title-details.xml?uid=125833 Lists French as only language, and apperantly a 4 disc set.
Looks to me like a way to close the series on DVD. They release a 3 disc set w/ pilot & finale, and then some favourite episodes in between. Makes sense. I'm afraid that's the last we'll see of Mad About You on DVD.
I've just finished with Season 3, and I thought it was just as good as the previous seasons. (I had no problems with the packaging or the discs). Too bad I have to wait for over a year to the next season. (Live in Norway, so I'll have to wait for the DVD to be released. Not that I follow TV...
Those 2 mini-series (10 episodes in total) have been released in a set called "G.I. Joe: The Complete Miniseries". There was limited edition including an action figure as well.
Take a look here for the complete episode listing: [Damn, can't post link yet, but try this: tvtome.com/Superman/eplist.html (www in front)] You should check this site out, and you'll find lost of interesting facts/shows.
It's a entertaining show. I just love the theme song, and would kill to get it on CD (or vinyl for that matter). Hopefully Koch will release all the episodes, and release them in chronological order.
I'm not so sure about season sets. Magnum P.I. has been released in region 2 as a two-disc set, containing various episodes from various seasons. Could be Universal is issuing the same best-of set. :frowning:
Apperantly I can't post links yet, but here's the titles and you can do a search yourself: - Best Of New Wave - More New Wave Have som great videoes by Talk Talk, ABC, Duran Duran, Kim Wilde, Human League, Heaven 17, Living In A Box etc.
Converting NTSC to PAL is not the best. You should have a player that is able to send out a true NTSC signal, and a TV that can show a true NTSC signal (Almost all newer European TV's or players can do this.) This way nothing will be converted, and then you'll get a better signal
