I spent the morning assembling 12 refurbished theater seats. I think I'll have to build my own cup holders to attach to the wooden arm rests.
I'm still open to suggestions regarding the cup holders. :)
Paul
I am installing older Irwin Theater Seats in my home theater and they are the older style without the plastic cup-holders. Does anyone sell the plastic cup holders that I could somehow retrofit on to the existing wooden armrests?
Thanks!!
Paul
It looks like Howard was shocked to find out he was replaced as well. I have nothing against Cheadle, but I really liked Howard's take on the character. He came across as very genuine and his calm was a perfect counter to Downey's over-the-top antics. And I too, prefer continuity with...
I went out and bought a new Blu-Ray player just to watch this movie...(actually, I needed a new player as the old one wouldn't play it)...And it was well worth it! Excellent movie both visually and sonically. Paul
Is the Blu Ray actually 2.35:1 aspect ratio? I only saw it once in the movie theater and thought it was 1.85:1, but my eyes could've deceived me. ? THANKS! Paul
I definitely won't be buying this Blu Ray, sadly. I so wanted to enjoy this movie but the poor dialogue and plot ruined it. I was truly disappointed that after so many years this is the best they could do for Harrison Ford and the once great character of Indy. No matter how good it looks on...
Thanks for the tip, Paul. I tried it but it didn't work for me. It did switch to 720p like you said but mine just goes black then blue and back again without actually starting the movie. Is there another step I need to do? Thanks! Paul
Thank you Paul H and Ron for your responses. I do have the BD-P1000, I guess that explains it. I guess I need to get a new player. I also read some reviews on Amazon where people couldn't get any Samsung or Sony player to play it...Several with PS3's that couldn't as well. Strange. Paul
The "correct" UPC version won't play for me now. :frowning: Anybody else having that problem?? Could be my older Samsung Player just can't play it. But it plays every other Blu Ray I own, including newer releases like Transformers. Any suggestions? Thanks Paul
Best Buy sold me the DEFECTIVE one and I just returned with the "good" one, I hope. I need to test it out to make sure. It is the correct upc this time. They gave me the run around but finally coughed one up.
I finally finished hand painting a life cast of Johnny Depp. I added the beard and mustache as well as the slightly opened eyes (he was cast with his eyes closed, of course). A view with the front glass installed. And yes, I certainly agree it's a LOT of gold trim/moulding in the...
Thank you so much, Johnathan and Chuck! I really appreciate the kind words! UPDATE: I am still adding elements to the entry/box office. There will be a recognizable "Ticket Taker" inside the box by next week... More to come.... Paul
After a lot of work, I am getting close to being satisfied with my home theater interior. I've added new wall coverings and a lot more mouldings and medallions. Paul
This sounds great for home theater applications. My only question is how much is it? Is it sold by the foot? How much for the lights and controller/switch? Thanks! Paul
After getting rid of my anamorphic prisms I've decided to finish my original classically inspired home theater with a 1.85:1 fixed screen. I loved the WIDE screen but I wanted to use my Blu-Ray player and take advantage of the 1920x1080 image. I've added more gold mouldings and medallions...
