So, what is the best way to 'tune' the setup? AVIA or MCCAC?

I found that the calibration with the MCCAC was hotter than when I used the AVIA disc. I am not sure the reason, but I am able to comfortably watch DVD's at -15/-10 with the AVIA calibration. With the MCCAC I was watching dvd's around -25/-20.

How do you tune the SVS subs to specific Hz? Or is this info that is passed to SVS prior to the purchase?

I am only running 2 for now. When we move into a bigger house I will purchase a pair of E80's for mains, move the E30's to surround and the E10's to the rear.

Do you have any more info on the downloadable excel sheets and correction values? I used the RS SPL to setup my system, but didnt take any of this into account... Thanks

For those of you putting the E30's on stands, what stands are you using? FYI...I am very pleased with my EC35, E30, E10 combo. The E10's are mounted about 2.5' above ear level on the wall directly behind the coach that is centered to the TV. The coach is pushed against the wall, so I know...

When you setup your speakers for reference level, do you: a) Just use the recievers built in setup? b) Use Avia and a Radio Shack SPL meter? I initially setup the speakers by using the built in setup of the receiver. In which I assumed that the reference level was going to be '0'...

I would not say that money is stopping me, but I would save money with the pb10 over the 20-39. I am just always under the impression that bigger and more money is better, but the pb10 seems to be winning a lot of people over. Makes me wonder if it is worth the extra coin for the 20-39 or not...

I missed this one. I would go that route, but my dvd player, game system, and Voom box all require optical cables. No digital coaxil connections on these products. :frowning:

I received the 10% coupon in the mail. It is part of a special "preferred customer" weekend for the days of Jan 10-13. The only problem is that the back of the coupon says "not valid with any other offer." Im not sure if they will let me use this with the 18 month 0% financing offer or not...
