Very good news indeed, even though it means a long wait until the release. Raintree County is such a beautiful epic movie, Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift are adorable in it. I for one can't wait and say: Bring it on as big as you can !! :)

Not knowing the comic book i had no preconceptions about the character and thought that Keanu's stoic play perfectly fit the Marlowe meets Exorcist character of this movie. Who could have been better ? Which actor would have been closest to the comic book character ?

Does anybody know wether the UK-R2 "Trainspotting: Definitive Edition" 2-disc DVD Edition has the same commentary track, i.e. from the Criterion Collection LD ? If not, that certainly would be a big advantage of the R1 Edition.

I have to agree, the Vintage Shorts as well as Grouchos appearance on the TV Talk Show are all first rate, they really fit in the package and perfectly display the humour of that period. Warner has really given us a superb boxset, that was well worth the wait. Keep on.

That is really great news, but why is it not possible to include his film "Husbands", which is a personal favourite of mine ? There is also a great part of the french tv-interview-series "Cinéastes de notre temps" on Cassavetes, hopefully they get a hand on this also. ...wishes, wishes...

What about "A Day at the Races" ? This is one of my favourites beside the movies released by Universal.
