Thank you for making this post, it sounds really great. I have a somewhat off subject remark/question. I have DISH and I love the " digital music" channels; I'm a BLUES nut and I listen allot. Well, you know I can hear the same song list for at least two weeks. Sounds crazy, not just the same...
Brian, you do killer work! Everyting I've seen of yours looks great. See I'm just working up my shop, and so far it's just a table saw, cicular saw, a coulple of drills, a plam sander, jig saw, misc clamps, and some GLUE and SCREWS!;) My next tool will be a router, and associated guides...
Let's me put it this way: Unless test eqpt has BNC connections for it's leads, it propably has bannana plugs. If it's what I use to verify a good v. bad signal, I bet it's fine for speaker wire connection. Also I feel that the tight fit of a bannana combined with formentioned convience...

VCR v. DVD, VCR is a lower resolution format and I'm just warning you that a VCR is just to record "fair" quality no matter what. I have dish network, and dvd, and vcr. Anytime I watch a vcr video I wish it was dish, or dvd. The only time I use a vcr is to record kids' programs for my wife...
Just for debate....why not check with a local reputable glass company and see if they have hinges for non-hole applications, and if they can cut the glass, drill the holes and provide or install the hinges. Just a suggestion. BTW O love glass fronts, even mirrored would be cool... ( you got it...
Javiar, I have some old cv pd-9's in storage, sure they are factory speaker boxes with 12's in them and they ROCK! The bass is heavy metal killer. So, I bet you; with two are going to be very happy esp. the price v. performance. Afterall, doesn't the bottom line always count?
