Yes, I set DDEX for all DD content. If its on TV or DVD I manually force the DDEX on my Integra 6.1 receiver. I find when I dont listen to the EX decoder now, it always feels like something is missing.

Yea i tried everything i could think of. I think the auto detecting for my video 3 broke or something. It works when i play a dvd in detecting but not when im watching tv. GRRRRR

I have a Integra dtr5.3 and comcast digital cable box. Using a optical cable from the box to my video 3 input. When i first got the digital cable the HD channels would auto detect the Dolby Digital sound. Now I cant get the DD anymore. I think my little brother might have messed with something...

I have an Integra dtr6.3 with my energy system,c-1 fronts,and take 5+1's in the back, (Upgraded my fronts from the smaller satelites) and love how it sounds. The receiver wasnt cheap but well worth it in my opinion. Go to a store and sit down and really take a good listen to them.

i think it helps to reduce vibration and any movement that the speaker might create from playing your speakers loudly. There only really suppose to be used it you have carpet or a floor that would not get damaged. I got a choice to use spikes on my stands but dont.

i bought the 50h82 from best buy for a price of 1,299. Great Tv. Im just running regular cable and the picture quality is great. DVD's look awesome also.
