I already have my non-anamorphic Criterion set, so I was hoping to just get this to supplement it. But I guess I'm joining the crowd waiting for Criterion now.
OK but then that's one time out of 6 chances. It's fair to say that they don't usually show the summer on The Office and that they generally follow the real world's calendar.
That is absolutely fair to say. They generally follow us real time. Still, I would say we shouldn't assume...
If you're implying that the show takes place in real time so that the characters will be experiencing Fall at the same time us viewers do, then you need to re-watch season 5's Weight Loss (parts 1 & 2). They can and have showed us footage from "the summer" before.
I've seen this complaint a lot. I'm just telling myself that she purchased the cheapest 1-way ticket she could get her hands on. I've seen it in movies and shows before. I'm just choosing to believe that we as the audience simply didn't see that (rather boring) scene.
I know your viewpoint is shared by many, but I disagree. Matt has been a part of the game. Clearly a different part than the main group, but nevertheless, he's playing the game as defined by the Show. The rules are different this year and I think it would be perfectly fair if he took an...
He IS a cool character. I've been impressed with how well he's handling his team's loses at the challenges. I know we don't see everything of course. But I've not really seen any footage of panic at his camp. Normally it seems when a team is losing that badly, the tribe gets very wound up...
That pretty much describes me. I grab them while I can. They may spend the rest of their life eating hard drive space. Or perhaps I'll find a good use for them eventually. For now I'm just grabbing them while I can.
I've very excited to check out my copy! It's one of three films I knew for certain I'd upgrade (the other two being Amélie and Die Hard 4). Just got my PS3 replaced and got it back on Monday. Maybe tonight I can kick the boys off long enough to check out a few scenes until I have the time to...
I have the complete series and don't recall having any issues with it at all. I think the biggest problem is that the packaging sucked. That's probably why so many ended up with scratched discs.
Well, I never owned a single Bond on DVD or any other format. I'm getting them and seeing them for the first time on Blu-ray. So it really sucks that it seems we won't be seeing more in the near future. But I can always go back and re-watch the ones I have.
I'll admit I'm 41 and enjoy the show. I won't go out of my way to watch of course, but my kids have it on all the time. And of all the shows they have on, it comes the closest to grabbing my attention. I've even been known to put down whatever I'm doing and actually watch the show. It's the...
I have to say I'm content with my DVDs. I'd love to replace them and the rest of my DVD collection if that were financially feasible. Sadly, that's not the case! There's been some upgrading to Blu-ray, but very little. I'd rather spend my movie budget on things I don't have and want than...
Same here. If the show isn't on Blu-ray and likely won't be, I don't mind getting DVD. But if it's on Blu-ray already, I'll just wait for the right price rather than pick up the DVDs.
I own all the previous Stargate series and we're somewhat enjoying the new series. But I won't be buying simply because I just don't believe in buying half seasons. If they were half price, maybe. But they're not even close. So, no sale here.
Can we please stop the Battlestar Galactica discussion please? I'm only midway through season 2 and am very annoyed that I'm reading spoilers in a Stargate thread.
I've been watching both this and Southland. I'm really enjoying Southland, but in my opinion, it doesn't even come close to this show. If I had to choose, I wouldn't think twice about dropping Southland. The quirkiness of this show is what keeps me coming back. Let just hope that it sticks around!
I wonder if this is a one time deal? I'd like to start off with my important titles like my Matrix set, Harry Potter, Planet Earth and a few others. The ones that would cost a lot to replace. I have a second tier that I'm on the fence about. They're titles I know I'll watch multiple times in the...
