I need a cd player, no dvd etc, just a plain old cd player. Can I just get a cheap one from Circuit City etc or will I notice a sound quality difference? ----------------- Klipsch RB-35 bookshelf speakers Harman Kardon 3375 Receiver
Especially the new Reference Series (like the bookshelf models). I've asked on the Klipsch board but it's pretty obvious what everybody there thinks :) I was just wondering how they rate compare to other brands. I just bought some RB-35s...
The new Klipsch RB-75's are supposed to be amazing. They use an 8" Cerametallic woofer and 1.75 tweeter. The SAME tweeter used on the RF-7. They're about $1000
I'm using some Klipsch RB-35's and an Onkyo TX8511 receiver, and also a Sony CD player from about 1987. When I turn up the volume I can hear lots of white noise/static in the background. Is this normal? Do different cd players have better sound quality or are they all the same? Thanks Mike
I bought the 8511 a month ago and am sending it back because it doesn't have a subwoofer output. The spring clips in the back were also annoying. One of the nice things is it has 9 buttons on the front for each radio preset.. I'm waiting for the HK 3375 to get here on Friday, will let you know...
This is where I got my stuff, it's dirt cheap and looks really cool. Seems like quality stuff too. http://www.knukonceptz.com/detail.as...uct_id=kle12bl
I hope this isn't a dumb question, but will using 6 ohm speakers hurt my receiver? I'm just waiting for my new speakers to get here and am using some Aiwa bookshelf ones with my new Onkyo receiver. There's a switch on the back that says 4 ohm minimum or 8 ohm minimum and I set it to 4 ohm.
Ok, I just ordered a pair of Klipsch RB-35 bookshelf speakers. The specs are: FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 45Hz-20kHz±3dB SENSITIVITY: 96dB @ 2.83 volts/1 meter POWER HANDLING: 125 watts maximum continuous (500 watts peak) NOMINAL IMPEDANCE: 8 ohms compatible I figured this meant I needed to...
Are the watts divisible by the number of speakers you're using? Like if it says 100 watts x 5 channels will it put out at least 130 watts with 2 speakers? I thought those speakers were 100 watts but they're 130w
Hi I'm building a stereo for my bedroom and need help finding a receiver. The speakers I'm using are 100w Klipsch RB-35's. I don't have a sub right now but may get one in the distant future. Would this receiver work well? http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=...1&cat=3&scat=4 Thanks ;)
