bump.. price changed to $750. I'd like to convert it into money that just let it sit in my house... I'm too busy nowadays to sit and watch movies and listen to music. :frowning:
Thanks..bump.. Item is now for sale..$800 plus shipping. I prefer a local (SoCal) sale for the buyer's interest so they can appreciate the condition of the amp and minimize risk of shipping. Here's my ad from Audiogon: Rarely used (my reason for selling) 5-ch amp. Please visit...
FS, barely used. I'd say it has about 200 hours on it only. Silver face. No scratches, great condition, like new. I bought it for $1050 awhile back and am looking to get $800 for it plus 50/50 shipping if not local sale (Southern California). Is this reasonable folks? I can't find others...
That sounds like it will work just fine! What exactly do you call it? I'll try to look for one here @ the local stores. If I can't find one, I'll let you know. I greatly appreciate your offer!! ...maybe there's a website that sells these things?...
Scratch the first post, folks. I just read the manual again for my 6200 and it does NOT have a trigger-out for other components. It only has a proprietary Marantz RDBus (?) in and out. Now the following question would be...how do I trigger the amp so I don't have to get up and press the power...
Hi all, I just got the Rotel 1075 and I want to use its trigger-on feature. However, my Marantz has an RCA trigger out but the amp uses a 3.5mm jack for a trigger in. Can I just get an RCA to 3.5mm adapter to connect the trigger-out and trigger-in? Has anyone done this before? Thanks...
At least your friend admitted that B&W really sounds better. My friend who spent $2,500 on his Bose AM-15 heard my B&W setup, 603s, 601s, LCR60, all series 3 and while he admitted that it sounded good, he didn't admit that it sounded better than his failed $2,500 "investment." His final sentence...
Mark, I will be using 601s for the rears also but I will stick to 600 series all around since I can't afford CDMs for now. I heard the combo today and yes, the power is there and the speakers sounded clear with lots of good natural bass. One thing I noticed is that the highs weren't as...
Hi all. Does anyone have this setup, Rotel 1075 with B&W 603s? (it doesn't matter what the surround speakers are) I might be going for this purchase soon and would like some input from those who have this setup as far as: - Clarity of the highs - Rotel's capability of driving the speakers...
I will be getting an amp soon, maybe a Rotel 1075 or Marantz MM9000 to drive B&W dm603 fronts. The Rotel is rated at 120W and the Marantz is rated at 150W, but the speakers are only rated at 110W, I think. Will this be OK?? Thanks.
Here is my equipment list: B&W's all around, 603 mains, LCR60 center, 601 rears, all Series 3's, Velodyne CHT-10 all being driven by a Marantz SR6200. I now feel the need to have "better" sound coming from the B&Ws. Should I keep the Marantz as a pre/pro and get a Rotel RMB-1075 as an amp...
I have the DV4200.....I think the main difference between the 4300 and 4200 is the progressive scan on the 4300. My 4200 has good picture and sound, as one would expect from a Marantz; It's good for the price.
I have 601 Series 3's as L/R and LCR60 Series 3 as my center. Powered by a Marantz SR6200, I LOVE the sound. I've heard a lower-end Klipsch before but the highs on the B&Ws are extremely clear. I agree with Steve that you should couple the setup with a good sub. I'm using a Velo CHT-10. My...
Chris,
No I have not tried the CC4300 in analog mode. I have yet to do the DAC comparison between the CC4300 and SR6200.
It would be interesting to see some kind of real statistics of component reliability (any component, not just CD players/changers). My friend has a 2 year old CC4000 and...
I suppose the DACs on my SR6200 receiver are good enough where I don't need a CD player with a good DAC. I dropped by a local hifi dealer last night and after checking out the NAD 541i and CC4300 (I know, not apples:apples), I figured that I could just use the CC4300 as a transport and let...
Hello all. I'm a newbie and this is my first post in the forum. I have a small dilemma. My H/K FL8380 CD changer just gave way after 3 months of use. It couldn't ready ANY CD that I put in it. I'll bring it to Circuit City tonight to get it fixed (Manuf Warranty + Extended Warranty). After...
