That's a very good question. I would call Denon and ask them. I agree that The AVP (and POA) should have been available in both silver and black in both Europe and North America. At least we could them buy what would match our other gear better.

Yes a dedicated theater room with a front projector is without a doubt the ultimate way to go. But since I don't yet have a dedicated room, this current setup with the 70 inch Sony SXRD TV works really well. But someday when I do have a room built I will have at least a 120 inch screen. :)

It looks like The AVP-A1HD pre/pro is targeted for a December release. Still no official word on pricing. From Home Cinema Choice:

I'm about as curious on that as you are. Original rumors were saying that they were due out this November, but now I'm hearing December sometime. Either Nov. or Dec. at least we know it's scheduled for this year.:) I know that I want the AVP-A1HD bad.

At the show Denon had in New Jersey they were pretty tight lipped an any specifics (official pricing, availability, etc.). They did have the AV processor and matching amp on display though, and from what I've read from ones who attended the event, the pair are really built well (and HEAVY!). So...
