One of my favorite early N64 games was Blast Corps - the concept was a bit wierd, but I thouroughly enjoyed it. It looks simple when you're watching someone else play, but once I picked up the controller, I was hooked!

You are correct Dave, and I couldn't agree more...I am more than content playing Metroid and Resident Evil and wait a couple of months for Splinter Cell.

If you like Virtua Tennis on DC, I think you will like this game. It has what appears to be simple, two button gameplay that turns out to be pretty deep. The camera can be a bit of a frustration, but you'll get used to it. Picked it up at Best Buy for $30 - a bargain IMHO.

As annoying as it is, ports of PS2 games are generally disappointing. The developers simply don't take the time to optimize the games for the more powerful systems. In some cases, the games even look/play WORSE, which is completely inexcusable IMHO.

Second that...an almost unbelievable sense of speed...and did you see that jump in the second video?

I haven't played it yet, but the quest mode of TimeSplitters 2 is supposed to have a co-op option, as well as totally customizable multi-player matches. Many of the game's developers are ex-Rare employees whoi were responsible for Goldeneye. Most of the reviews of the game have been positive...
