The new Velodyne DD (Digital Drive) subs which replaced the HGS's are almost totally remote controlled. Any of the older F-series that have an R (FSR-15) in their model number are also remote equipped. Curt

You might find a good deal on the Velodyne HGS's since they've been replaced by the new computerized DD's. The HGS's look good and sound great. Curt

I agree the Velodyne VX-10 would be a fine sub for your application. Surprisingly good performance for the price. Curt

For music the Velodyne SPL-1200 is a winner. Sealed box, state of the art driver and amp for clean, accurate tight bass. Velodyne has been preaching low distortion for years and you can hear the difference. Audition it and see what you think. Curt

Gene, While the HSU VTF-2 is an excellent sub, it's still a 10" and certainly can't compete with the CHT-15 in a large environment. For an inexpensive sub I find the 15 delivers where other usually fail. If you get a chance give it a try. Curt
