I'm disappointed. First what I like: Will Smith is great. I like the look of the city. What I don't like: A lot of the movie didn't make sense to me. How can an adult not know who Bob Marley is? I actually got mad at her, heh. A lot of other stuff like why was he driving around in...
Hehe, I voted for Gymkata, Carny, Looker... I can't help myself sometimes. Although I'm pretty sure I voted for Bhowani Junction and Get to Know Your Rabbit as well. I'm glad Looker won but too bad about Carny. It looks interesting.
Interesting, I thought the 2-pack was long out of print. However, Best Buy and Amazon both carry it... I might just bite the bullet and go for it. The Divimax editions probably wouldn't be that much improved anyway.
I was wondering if Anchor Bay plans on releasing DiviMax versions of Hellraiser 1 & 2. I've been holding out on buying the original DVDs for the longest time. Since AB has done new editions of the Halloween movies you would think HR 1 & 2 would be next. Anybody have any info? Thanks.
Kill Bill Innocent Blood Night of the Living Dead (remake) - The current DVD is fine but I want a director's cut. Fritz the Cat (and the other Bakshi movies that hasn't been given one yet) Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and Duck You Sucker Lilo & Stitch The Road Warrior (I...

Fangoria reports that there's going to be a Stepfather remake (ugh). Anyway, hopefully this remake will produce a DVD release for the original (and maybe the sequels).
Here's the ten I voted for: 1. The Arrangment 2. Bhowani Junction 3. Carny 4. The Illustrated Man 5. Looker 6. Sphinx 7. Al Capone 8. Gymkata (Sorry, I just had to vote for this.) 9. Angels in the Outfield 10. Get to Know Your Rabbit
Hopefully we'll get the original theaterical version. I'm hoping they won't have to do something stupid like take out various video game soundtracks or effects because of liscensing issues.
As others have said, the dirt is obvious during the outdoor shots but I've also noticed it during the completely black parts. For instance, after the lost shot of the film and it has faded to black I could see specks. Very distracting and annoying. I'm glad I rented this DVD instead of buying...
Not only is the print they used dirty, but also I noticed a techincal glitch. I played the DVD on two players in my house and noticed that both times the english subtitles started automatically. Does anybody else have this problem? It's not terribly annoying, but still... It's a fantastic movie...
18th "The Messengers" (Sony) "Snakes on a Plane" (New Line) "Stormbreaker" (Weinstein Co.) Haha, no way, Snakes on a Plane is going to hit number one that weekend.
