A poster on another forum had a good premise; the shooter was the reporter girlfriend who is under pressure to have a good story for the paper. She's the right height and it makes a tiny bit of sense.
My impression of Lithgow's career is that roles like 3rd Rock are more the aberration and this dramatic one is more in his "wheelhouse". I am also glad that he was cast.
No. it was not a fun ride for me, Cliff Curtis was a walking talking stereotype as was the other crew member that enabled him. I'll give it one more shot but thats about it for me.
I see many potential employees for the Draper Agency. Don has 500k in the bank in early 60's dollars, the backing of Conrad Hilton and an eye for talent. (Sal, Peggy, etc...) And people that owe him. Not to mention Sterling Cooper maybe falling apart and people thinking of jumping ship.
I think its the best season yet... and the next weeks elimination of a contestant after a quickfire will wake some of them up. With so many contestants I figured there would be at least one double elimination episode.

Drama is going to get set up with a gay love interest on Five Towns. Anyone who knows Drama knows that will kill him and we'll get to see if his "personal code" that he goes on about will be stronger than his desire to succeed in Hollywood.
