1. Wendy L. - I have seen the entire series of Buffy - I plan on watching all 7 seasons - I would like to rewatch Angel when S3 of Buffy is over. 2. Eric Meske. - I have seen the entire series of Buffy - I plan on watching all 7 seasons - I would like to rewatch Angel when S3 of Buffy is...

I definately saw it... the wavy lines are very annoying... and I only have a 32" tv. Almost every seen that had black in, you could see the wavy lines. It was like watching cable (as someone earlier stated) I called warner on this... no comment yet...
MichaelPR- Integra is made by the parent company of Onkyo. All in the family! Paradigm makes some great speakers, and since you mentioned the cinema 70 series, I'm assuming your budget is right around $800 for speakers. I would try to bump up to the performance series, but if your budget is...
I'd like to see: He-man and the Masters of the Universe (orig) too in season sets or one big collection. It's corny, I know, but they are still enjoyable to watch. My other 2 tv on dvd shows that I was hoping would be released/announced have been! Roswell Home Improvement
Casey, it's only $34.99 to preorder at Amazon! I've been waiting for HI forever... awesome news! http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...ehomeimprovemz TvShowsondvd.com news: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=2088
I noticed that too with my center channel... usually during dialog when people screamed or were yelling... my tv would resonate...I thought it was the speaker for a long time. I just stacked felt pad stickers to isolate and to tilt my center channel slightly down... total cost less than $1! And...
I have an onkyo HT-R500 and it does get quite warm/hot. I has about 4" of air space on top in a closed cabinet, though I do leave the glass door open for dvd viewing... I've used it continuously at loud volumes (75-80 volume...not dBs) for 4 hours plus...movie marathon...I use it for reg tv...
unfortunately...it was on my sys.... I had messed with the sat's amp a lot trying to tweak it...but never the subs never really noticed a prob with the sub per say, besides having little mid bass, but I always thought the problem was my 5.25s I changed the crossover to 100 changed 24 db...
For anyone who does installs, why would someone set up a 12" sealed sub with a 60hz low pass crossover when the 5 1/4 sats in front are crossed over at 100hz? the sub amp also had a limiter on it blocking all freq's below 30hz...
I like pioneer premier/rev speakers... very laid back/natural sounding...4x6 and 6.5 pairs are under $200 I had 6.5 polks about 4 years ago that sounded pretty good A lot of people recommend focal...they get expensive fast though. you might be able to find some 6.5s for under $200... 5.25s...
wow...not low at all... I guess the bass hits at high spls were just bottoming out the subs that I tested. thanks! I am seriously considering pb2 ultra... it seems to be the most sub for the money. Rudi- I just did a little searching for how people did waterfalls... so I downloaded...
I would do exactly what tom said, set the speakers to small and use the lfe output on the receiver for the sub. congrats on your new system! let us know how it sounds.
Heh... Before I bought my budget htib system, I used my Altec Lansing computer speakers (about 2 months)! You just need a 1/8th to stereo rca plug which can be bought for $10 at radio shack... no need to plug into a receiver... just plug into the audio out of your tv... pc speakers are powered...
I use a couple of songs to tests subwoofers, not necessarily because they're reference because I'm sure that they are not, but because they seem to push subwoofers to their limits (at least with what I've tested: mostly 12" car subs w/ 250-350 watt rms amps; earthquake, jl, kicker, rockford...
I'd highly recommend Roswell. :emoji_thumbsup: Watched the pilot about a month ago and shortly there after bought the season 1 set and have watched all the eps. I really can't figure out why I never watched it when it was on originally..
that is sweet! I just posted my theater a couple of days ago, but yours is pretty much exactly what I want (dream?) eventually! I really like those chairs and the in-wall rack.
thanks everyone, owen- I've thought about a diy. One of my friends built all of his own speakers, so I wouldn't be shooting in the dark. That or maybe a PB2-Ultra since everyone praises them or a servo-15 since I've heard it already. But, I'm in a townhouse/duplex right now, and my neighbors...
thanks Shane I was watching the Roswell season 1 set. Oh you mean the fox news guy...heh heh I was going to take a picture at night so I could get a good screen shot, but I decided it looked ok. I'll do it eventually/ Oh, there's nothing wrong with Buffy! You have pretty good looking...
Heh I just got a digital camera so I thought I'd post my home theater, even though it pales to more than 90% of those on this forum! I just looked at Dave's post and his theater looks great. I did most of my research here before I bought my onkyos a year ago, and for what I paid, they sound...
