"New" Best of Eddie Murphy SNL DVD...

Screw the best-of sets. I want full episodes by season!

The Iron Giant: SE - 8/26!

Does anyone know if there will be any improvement to the video/audio, or is it the same transfer with extra supplements? The current disc looks and sounds great, so I don't think I would upgrade just for extra features.

So those petitions we signed for Blockbuster to stock Widescreen were for nothing?

Protest with your wallet. If you don't like how Blockbuster does business, don't spend money there. The only way to affect change is to cut their revenue over it.

HTF REVIEW: "The Country Bears" (with screenshots)

Ron -- I appreciate the review, too. A negative review like this is more useful than no review at all. I was planning to buy this for my kids as well, but we don't watch butchered DVDs. Another lost sale, Disney. That makes 4 for me so far(2 Muppet movies, Honey I Shrunk the Kids and now...

NO more 2-Disc SE's of newer Disney animated films

Those CEs with DTS have spoiled me. I didn't buy Lilo & Stitch in anticipation of a 2-disc DTS version, and I can put my money elsewhere until Disney pulls their collective head out.

Buy your Hong Kong DVD's while you still can!

Good News for OAR in mainstream

I picked up my copy of E.T. from a nearby Target on release day. They had obviously loaded up on the P&S version. I picked up my OAR version on a smaller endcap with mostly family titles, but it had equal amounts OAR/P&S versions of E.T. (about a dozen each). But their 'new releases' endcap had...

I'm also waiting for the Superbit. I liked this movie a lot, but I can wait.

Blockbuster DVD Rentals $4.29 And Rising!!

If you really care about movies, you wouldn't give your money to Blockbuster on principle alone. Censoring corporate behemoth bastards... ;) I also think you should give Netflix a try. I was concerned about coughing up $20 every month as well, but considering my nearest rental store charges...

Wal-Mart "Cues Up A Rival to Netflix"

I also enjoy a 6-7 day turnaround (from initial shipping to processing the return) with Netflix, which I think is quite fast for regular postal mail. I typically get 3 new rentals each week, which is approximately 12 per month or $1.66 per rental. I'm totally happy with that. If my local...
