It seems like a lot of tall tales about the 7200 are starting to surface in this thread. 340 Watts into one channel? 140*7 continuous? Here is a review And here are the real performance specs I can summarize if you don't want to read the whole sheet: Output at clipping for 1 channel (8...
All I meant to say is that for $1400 this should be able to apply Logic 7 to 5.1 sources. That is the main distinguishing feature (in my mind) between the top of the line HK's and the rest. This is supposedly going to be the top-of-the-line HK (replacing the 8000), but it can't really do...
Am I the only one completely dissapointed with the 7200? I can't believe that it isn't capable of overlaying Logic 7 on 5.1 encoded material. The 8000 is a much better bargain; the 7200 really doesn't have much of an advantage much over the 525, except a much higher price (about 2x).
Luis, I would trade Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery for Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Let me know if you're interested via e-mail ([email protected]). Thanks, Ben
This DVD doesn't come up for sale too often, and for some reason it is fetching ridiculous prices when it does surface on Ebay. I suggest just buying it new at DeepDiscountDVD.com for $21.46. That includes free shipping. You're going to need some terrific luck to find a reasonable used copy.
Or get it at J&R for $699 (+ shipping). There are an authorized online dealer. You have to submit your e-mail address and they send you the lower price quote. Here's the link that they send you for the lower price.
Ecost.com is not an authorized dealer, however. I didn't intially see that stipulation in your post. See this thread for a situation in which somebody got Circuit City to price match Costco at $699.
If you are thinking about the 525: ECost.com has the 525 for $618.82 shipped to your door (free ground shipping). Check it out here A couple of other places have it for $650.00 like Crazy Eddie and Etronics. I'm probably going to have to pick one of these up soon. I just have to sell...

I'm trying to decide between picking up a 3802 now or waiting for the 1803 and saving a few bucks. I was wondering if the 3802 can do Dolby Digital EX. It mentions something about Dolby Digital 6.1 Matrix in the features on the Denon website. Is that essentially DD EX? I am trying to make sure...
