OK, haven't heard much on the coveted Ref 50...This unit has been out for over a month now. Anybody have any thoughts on it's performance??? Good or bad(yea right) Lets talk it up...
I did post this elsewhere, but if you have some wisdom...
What part does synergy play in the whole, when it comes to componants, cables, and speakers. I went to a really classy hi-fi retailer (the kind that don't try and sell you anything) and their perception was synergy plays a signifigant...

I will post this here first, as it might be basic in theory, and I just don't know it. What part does synergy play in the whole, when it comes to componants, cables, and speakers. I went to a really classy hi-fi retailer (the kind that don't try and sell you anything) and their perception was...
Let's put it to bed...I am going to purchase one, as I want a uviversal player that does it all. Both seem to have same audio/video processing specs. My experience has been that the CD sound quality suffer on DVD players. Read some reviews of both, and listened to the pioneer, though not...
James is correct. B&W Nautilus line has been around longer than KEF's new reference line has. I did some listening today at our local Ultimate Electronics mega store, and I was amazed that they wanted almost 15K for a pair of these. NOT IMPRESSED...If you don't think these are some of the most...
Are these the brittish speakers that look like the B&W"s??? What a joke having to copy someone to sell a speaker, and not even close the build quality, and sound, average at best, not EVEN close for the money...you must get out more.
Man, if you guys are using Kenwood componants, I guess Home depot 12 guage is all and well...But if you have any type of quality gear, go with Monster at least...you will hear the difference. ;)
I understand the need for center and fronts to be of the same manufacture as you want them to sound similar. But is this really critical on surrounds, or will almost any quality brand do???
Have B&K seperates Pre/Amp...looking for best sounding speaker w/in my budget ($3500) 2 channel stero music. And believe me I done alot of research and listening. Just want some other opinions;)
I am close to purchaseing seperate pre/pro & amp. Thinking about Monster M1000 series interconnects. I've read alot about high-end interconnects (Kimber, Nordost, Silver) Is there any REAL difference in SOUND quality between these and top of the line Monster????
Sound quality very important #1...Two chanel stereo priority. But wanted to have one set-up to do both. Pre/Pro with the ability to read all the latest formats, and future upgrade ability. Leaning toward Elite DVD and B&W 803's Thanks for help
