Has anyone gone back to the DVD review thread and seen if the arguments are exactly the same?

I kind of remember last time a lot more bile was directed (by me, primarily) at Disney...
I actually have the Italian release so I don't really care (I never believed the extended cut would make it so I got the Italian from Xploited a while back)--but is the digital copy PC only? i.e. me and my iMac are sol?
As I recall... the letterbox printing (from Pioneer?) is voluminously available. Or at least it was when I got it from Amazon new (from a seller, not Amazon.com) a few months back. For about $3.50 (plus shipping). Still haven't watched it, but hopefully soon.
No... I know the 4:3 was the intended. (I have the Fox's of everything available) I was just wondering if the latest season, from Sony... if one could just zoom to a 4:3 or if I needed to get it off iTunes.
Is it possible these are going to be pan and scan? The Sony site doesn't have any aspect ratio info, neither does Amazon, neither does the press release...
I was worried about movie theaters when I moved from Chicago to Denver. At least in Chicago, I felt like there was some effort (and there were the nice theaters to go to there). Here, projection is frequently poor. I've had to get up and tell employees (no union projectionists here, no sir!) to...
wow... i haven't seen this since it aired. I remember reading one review that (correctly) pointed out it ripped off not just Jaws 1, but 2 and 3 as well...
Didn't Wise say his version was better?
He said this, "I would be the first to admit that as a work of art it was a much better film in its original form, no question about it," in 1972.
But I could swear he said his was better after Welles had passed.
Considering those one-dollar rental things are about to put blockbuster's brick and mortars out of business... What about the DIVX failure did Flexplay not understand?
Ok. (I just figured De Laurentiis always did Panavision). Any word on the rest of Legend's Paramount releases yet? I remember reading, in the Making of King Kong, how po'ed De Larentiis was at Mandingo getting bad reviews, considering there were lines for it around the block in NYC
"In all, he appeared in more than 100 films and made-for-television movies, directed nine films and produced nine more." Yeah, it's kind of sad he's only remembered for being Mr. Audrey Hepburn at one point.
It'd be unfortunate if Warners doesn't do the chat. Though I can understand, given some of the bilious posts about them. As for "Badlands," isn't it available on Amazon?
Wait... was I late? Seriously, just got an XBOX addon for cheap and a few discs. I got APOLLO 13, MIAMI VICE, FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, THE THING, and the ZODIAC director's cut (also got the overseas KING KONG '76 and THE FOG). Are there any awesome discs I ought to look out for on remainder...
Does anyone have the VHS release from the same company... I don't even remember the music, was it cool? (Speaking of music, the new movie's supposedly going to have "the Lonely Man" theme from the live action)
