Little off-topic, but fans of this movie should read Joe R. Lansdale's excellent short story (more of a novella) that the film is based upon. It's available in his "High Cotton" collection. Highly recommended reading, as is almost of his work for fans of dark mystery/humor.

David, I also would LOVE to see this show released - presonally, I think that Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans have never been funnier in any of their subsequent endeavors. Unfortunately, Peter Staddon from FOX told us that this show has little, if any, chance for a release at all in the future...
