I don't think that U2 are sellouts, and mainly because of one thing - in this comercial the song isn't just promoting the Ipod. Here we have a case of cross-selling - with this comercial U2 is advertising the new CD, they are promoting the new single "Vertigo", which is at this moment...
DAMN DAMN DAMN... I go through 3 pages of this only to see you name this movie... For me this is a movie and a character that NEEDS a sequel!... and maybe even the Dude from the big lebowsky... but maybe it's better to leave it as it is, so it doesn't demolish his cult status..
I have to give my vote to CDex for 90% of the stuff that you'll convert to MP3. It's FREE It's Easy to use It's QUICK And for other 10% of the CD's that are copy protected I reccomend MusicMatch... I'ts also free, but CDex is realy barebone - nothing fancy, and it gets the job done easily...
HI..I almost never post here... long time reader etc... But this is a great topicand I have to share my thoughts. In 1990. I just started highschool and I was 14 and a big big U2 fan (still am I supose), and maybe I'm wrong or my memory isn't good but I remember loving the music on MTV...
Almost all of the INSIDER... M. Man can pick good tunes Especially Iguazu (the drive to the cortroom scene), Safe from harm by Massive Attack on closing credits, and Sacrifice by Lisa Gerrard
I don't mean to brag... BUT I WILL!!! I just saw it at the show at 15:00. It started showing in Croatia today - here movies start on thursday and not on friday and since this is a movie with wide world release date... And it met my expectations... i like it a lot, maybe even better...
I don't want to repeat anyone else, but i realy thought that someone will mention: Mad World - Donnie Darko as this movie is so loved here and it's the song, IMO, that leaves the biggest impression...
this will be quick

I'm rather new here and I want to say something - I relay realy like this forum. For the first time I can see an argument without calling names or trashing.
There are allways exceptions - why SW fans feel the need allways to trash LOTR? even when the disscussion is not about LOTR? Just to hide...
Hi!
I'm a newbie and you don't know me yet, but I hope that I'll become regular in this forum
Now I have to give you my opinion on this movie - sadly it was the biggest disappointment in the last year (maybe only after "planet of the apes").
I realy didn't buy into it, and I don't think it...
I know they make Sub/Sat combo, BUT I don't think that that's available in Croatia right now, and if I order from some other state I still have to pay custom, so it's not worth it...
whatever may be, I'm sure I'll be satisfied when the day of my move to the new apartment comes. I will at last...
Well,I'm afraid tht it will be quickly either way - B&W or Wharfdale. The thing is that if I buy B&W I will be broke for another year (I'm buying an apartment 66 square meters, and I have to furnish it, not just the HT)
So If the Wharfdale is better for less money maybe I'll afford that and...
Hi here I am again - this time with a request for a help in choosing between two brands. My first idea for HT system was - SAmsung 32' Wide-screen with built in R,L and C speakers. I thought about taking Wharfdale's 8.1 for rears, and 8.2 for front's, and for few month using TV' center...
paul thanx I can get 8.2 for 230$ so you are right - it's not expensive. I will definetly buy a sub, but maybe after a month or two (cash problems) offcourse I have to get a center... I can get the new Samsung 32' for 1200$. That modell allready has 3 speakers built in - C, R, L. Maybe I'll...
thanx to all of you for your info
I need wharfdale 8.1 diamond for my rear speakers, and I can get them for 200$ here in Croatia
and B&O interests me mainly b/c of the design - and offcourse wow factor... but it gets wow responce mainly from the guys and not the chicks so there's no need for...
I'm planing to set them as rear speakers in my surround system. I'm moving in a new apartement in a few months (the building is still not finished), so I'm in a position to base everything in my livingroom around my new HT that I'll have.
I will buy 16:9 32' or 36' TV (I know it's not very...
I allready posted a thread about wharfdale speakers with no feedback, but I'll try once again with B&O.
This time I would like to know if anyone can tell me is B&O realy that good as the price suggests, or is it just a "jet-set" trick? And I would like to know anything about B&O, not just...
Hi, I'm planing to buy Wharfdale's Diamond 8.1 speakers which I plan t mont on my wall and i would use them in my HT architecture, but I would like to know if anyone here has some experience with them. Are they good, do you think that I could get something better for the same money...
But Affleck can't become Harison b/c the chronology isn't right.
Patriot games were before SOAF, as well as clear and present danger...
For Bourne - I think that Damon can pull it off, and it seems to me that it's close to the book - it's not James Bond, it's real spy movie...
I LOVED Ludllum, and Bourne in this book wasn't aware of who he is, so he can be confused fratboy that Damon will make him look like...
The Sum Of All Fears is my favorite book by Clancy, but I can't picture affleck replacing Harison Ford as Jack Ryan - he is totaly out of his league and he...
