We just upgraded to a 4k TV, but our ten year old audio system just isn't cutting it anymore. We're starting a new project for which testing on a new top-of-the-line system would be amazing. Plus Pixels in Atmos would be the tops.
So CC had the two disc at the store in Albuquerque, and it was 15.99. It rang up that way, and I didn't have to tell them the price. They also gave me a pass to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall early for doing some online survey. Another thing that was strange was that it seemed like they...
I really appreciate everyone responding to me. I just didn't even know I could get private messages. My brother uses this a lot and just told me. So again thank you everyone who offered. It probably is too late to get one but it still means a lot that all of you were willing to help me out...
Costner and Reynolds are now friends again. Reynolds was actually the guy who gave Costner the script for Mr. Brooks. So, maybe, that is a good thing that they reconciled.
If anyone can find a copy to sell to me, I'd like to talk. I went to my local stores and couldn't find it anywhere. Let me know, when this was originally announced, I was stoked, but it angers me that they do this for some great films.
Whatever you want to think about Pearl Harbor are your mistakes, maybe stupid ones, but you can have those thoughts.
BUT LORD OF THE RINGS SUCKED COMPAIRED TO BLACK HAWK DOWN.
Whoever thinks LOTR was the best movie ever made should see a heck of a lot more films. LOTR is a pure action movie...
I tried to reply better, but my computer froze and screwed up, so I will just reply quickly. In my opinion, all Lord of the Rings was, was an action "flick", nothing more nothing less, while Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down were well made dramas. Everyone on these boards deserve their own...
Dalton, I was not bashing Lord of the Rings or Peter Jackson, I just thought that The Fellowship of the Ring wasn't that much of a great film. I thought of the movie as an action flick that should never have been up for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Those spots should have been saved for...
Larry, I totally agree with you. I read some of Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring, and the movie sucked compaired to the novel. Plus, In my opinion, Peter Jackson sucks even more. The only film of his I thougholly enjoyed was the Frieghteners. I thought that Pearl Harbor was the best...
I might be the only one who liked Pearl Harbor more than Lord of the Rings, but I still liked the action of Lord of the Rings as well. Pearl Harbor just hit a nerve with me I guess. But, I hope Lord of the Ring doesn't top Pearl Harbor, just because I am more interested in the actual even of...
It sounds like they really loved it. I do not think that the four disker of Lord of the Ring even has a chance at Best DVD of the Year with reading this, but still should be good. I have a feeling that this DVD is going to be my top one, actually I absolutly know it will be.
So to all those who have the Vista, does the set look awsome? I mean it has to because it is Michael Bay and David Prior. Do the menues look good also? How about the package, does it look as good as the pictures of it? Well, I hope this set is as good as I believe it will be.
None really. And for someone who would be willing to sell me an advanced copy of this tremedous set, my EMail address is above in an earlier post. thanks.
Sorry, I may be stupid, but may I ask what the store B&M is. I have no idea what store this is; at first I thought you meant to type B&N (Barnes and Noble), but that is obviously not right. Can someone please fill me in? Thanks!
