Way too early to buy new speakers (just got these 2 months ago), but I was just wondering what brand/line of speakers is the next step up? Keyword is step, not leaping 3 stories or anything here :)....I spent about $1700 for the speakers and receiver, so maybe $2000-$3000 for my next set...

Dunno if I read your situation right, but connect the audio L and R to the receiver and the video to the TV. That's my setup for my Gamecube (analog audio to the receiver and RGB cable to the tv).

Doh, that was what I meant. The fronts are already louder than the rears (since I'm sitting closer to the rears). Should I just up the fronts even more even though it'll be 'non-Avia'-calibrated anymore?

I did the whole Avia thing with the SPL meter already (works great!). I'm not sure if upping the dBs for the rears is the answer because there's no voice coming from the rears anyways.

Internal test tones are supposed to be calibrated to 75dB and test discs (Avia) calibrate to 85dB. Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone :)
