    mits ws55809

John, Thanks for the reply. So does that mean I should be pretty happy with -25% on the green? I've read many posts where people had within 5% of 0 on all 3 guns (with the red push fix on mits). It seems like I should get closer than basically the bottom of the scale on green. I'm having the...

    mits ws55809

Does anyone else with a mits ws55809 have a problem where the color decoder (as tested via filters in the AVIA disk) gives different results whether you are in component 1 or 2 or dtv input (also different with composite input)? With DTV input, I have eliminated the red push with a 3db...

    Canare DIY component cable help

Clay, Thanks for your input. I definitely was not anal about the straightness of the cable end and suspect that they did not go in straight. I didn't feel at least 2 of them "click". I will follow your instructions (once I get more RCA ends from markertek!) and try again. In the meantime...

    Canare DIY component cable help

Rob_VVV, Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I also tested each cable (via composite input to the TV) and found 2 of the 6 (I was running 2 separate runs of component cable) were bad. I will order more ends and try again. Thanks! Brian

    Problem with sub: annoying hum.

I just had this exact problem with my SVS sub and I have RG6 with RCA converters as well. Turns out the converter on the back of the receiver wasn't tight enough. Get 2 pliers and really tighten the rca converter tightly onto the f end. That took care of it for me. Hope this helps.
