Yeah, I had the same problem. Only mine wouldn't play any DVD's, and only some games. I called sony, same thing send money and system. I just took an air compressor and blew it out. The fan hole, the front and I opened the disk tray and blew air in their too. Probably not the safest thing...

I just bought new Axiom M3ti's, Vp100 center, and the Qs2 surrounds. They all say(except the surrounds) that they can handle 175 watts. My sony receiver is 80x5, so they wouldn't blow if I had it on full power???? The volume knob goes up to 30, and at 20 it's really loud! But the sounds still...

Yeah, for $304 you can get the Axiom factory outlet's M1ti(bookshelf) and the factory outlet VP50(center). You will still need surround but it will be a good start. And for about $472 you can't get all five.

Take a look at the Axioms(www.axiomaudio.com). I heard they were great. I'm buying a set of 5 very soon. Although, as you've heard, $300 is pushing it for good speakers. Go to the factory outlet you might find something close to your price range that is good.

I heard the Divias were really good, but a little pricy. Do they Axioms even compare in sound. I know the Axioms can't go low, but do they compare in every other field?:emoji_thumbsup:
