How "hot" is everyone running theirs? I know the owners manual says 2 or 3 db above the other channels. Just wondering if anyone is running more than that. I have mine set at 7 or 8 db hot, but I don't listen at ref. level like that. I measured a peak last night at my listening postion around...

Hey Ron, I think I know what caused the power outage yesterday. Your guys were testing my PB+ before shipment and calibrated it a little too hot, causing the cascade effect all the way from Ohio to Canada right? ;) Be a little more careful next time. :D

Watts divided by volts = amps. So if you had an amp that was 200 x 5 (1000 watt) divided by 115 volts thats 8.7 amps max. You could plug 2 of these in the typical 20 amp circuit and have room to spare.

Hey, this is a question for anybody who remembers the L-100. Remember that 12" woofer with the rubber coated cloth accordion surround? Those speakers not only sounded great but with that type of surround they were almost "bullet proof". I'm sure there are some being used in HT & music systems...

I have a Sony 777es receiver. I have noticed that when using dts a source, I have to set the dts LFE mix higher than the dd to get the same bass output from my sub. The 777es manual states that a 10db increase for dts is necessary to equal dd. Does anyone have any idea why this is?
