I received the 2 cd's & dvd combo as a gift. The 2 CD's play fine. However, the DVD plays a short "logo video" for Warner Reprise Video and then hangs as it tries to load the menu. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? BTW my DVD player is a Philips 751.

I have to totally agree with Neil that this should have been a seamless branching DVD. I also agree with Chad that the original cut heightened the suspense of the film. In fact, that's why its always been on my personal top 10 list. It was the first movie that I ever walked out of the theater...

I've known people who were completely bored by all of these films that I love: Amadeus Citizen Kane Empire of the Sun Lawrence of Arabia Shadow of the Vampire But hey, I guess there are enough of us out there that enjoy them that they keep being made.:)
