How many "blocks" can an Xbox mem card hold?

Don't feel bad w/ Ultima IV. I started playing Ultima 3 at age 10 (maybe 11) and didn't finish until my junior year of high school!!! I played it off and on thru the years. During that time I played (and finished) several others. Oh well. Happy Adventuring!

How many "blocks" can an Xbox mem card hold?

Derrik, I believe the answer is 512. I did some research to determine the size of a block and found 16K a lot, which make sense as that is a common harddrive sector size. A couple very non-scientific tests back that up: An early savegame of Morrowwind is about 60-65 blocks, which is about...

Newbie need help with RF-3II Config

Yes, the RS3's can be wall mounted. (i don't see how else they could be mounted...) they use two screws (vertical) so you can 'tow them down' by having the loosening the upper screw, however, my humble research has proved this to be 1 - unneccessary and 2 - to get any effect, it look silly. i...

OK, now since we have DD dts(EX , ES) THX, SDDS, are we done yet?

Just to play devil's advocate to those who say "X.X is enough"... Ask yourself, what did you say with your first vcr/pro-logic setup? I told the wife that was enough, no need to spend any more money... i've been sitting at 6.1 for a few months now, and I can't for "the next big thing"

    Dipole or monopole for EX/ES?

I have a 6.1 configuration with dipole's directly on the side (for surrounds) and a direct for the rear center. The room is 12 x 40, with 12 x 22 dedicated as the listening area (the rear is suspended from the ceiling). Hope this helps.

Lord of the Rings: Will this Prompt you to Upgrade your Receiver?

You might be sick, but your in good company. :) I ditched a Sony DB-930 for an Integra 8.2 and bought a rear-surround for Episode I. The wife tells me my life depends on Episode II not to be in 10.2 :):):)

    Thanks Brent

Jack, I sent you pictures via email. As far as room config, mine is 12 x 38-ish, with the theater taking 20 ft. The surrounds are @ 17' with the rear center @ 20'. If I could have mounted the surrounds farther forward, I think 17' would be just fine. The theater room doubles as a living...

    5.1 versus 7.1...needing help deciding

Jack, I'm going to disagree and say "yes, I believe it's worth it". I have an L shaped room that is deep and solved the problem cheaply and with a positive WAF. My receiver (an Integra 8.2) does 7.1, but I am currently only using 1 rear center (budget). I'm plan on adding a second rear when...

Should I even bother buying a 6.1 receiver?

I've been watching this thread for some time, debating on adding my opinion. I've decided to. I have a question to those that aren't sold on the 6.1/7.1 setup. Out of sheer curiosity: (please take no offense to this, its meant for discussion, not bashing in any way) Of those that don't...

DD Volume Problem - Need Help

I had the same problem w/ this disk (Integra 8.2 receiver). To view it, I forced the DVD player to output PCM, then used the Prologic II to get as much 5.1 pack out of it. If you can't return it, you can at least use it for more than a coaster... Hope that helps.

    Rear Center Location

My surrounds are 1 foot behind (on the wall) and 6 feet off the floor. 1 rear-enter is in a hand-crafted box on the ceiling, about 3 feet behind the surrounds. i noticed a world of difference by simply angling the speaker down. night and day difference. I don't know if this info helps, and...

    Outdoor Speakers

My wife bought me a pair of Infinity Outriggers 3 1/2 years ago. I'm sure they were under $300. They have been outside ever since. I love them. Nice sound, nice quality. My inlaws have the little brother pair, and they have been outside for 5 years. We live in southwest michigan, so they...
