Ron Thanks for the links. I was able to find the 3802 at their web site but I could not find the 1082 for some reason. I just printed out the spects, and the sheet is word for word identical except the 3802 is rated at 110W and the 1082 is rated at 150W. I will go back a little more...

Brian I was actually thinking abt $500 for the mains, should the rears be the same quality, i had been lead to believe that they didnt have to be. I have an older pair of Infinity Ref 3's, would they be a good choice and put my money elsewhere? Mark

OK, so this may seem a little lame but if I am building a HT and my audio system will be used for probably 90% (yes, I said 75% in another thread but thought better of it) HT, movie, HD use, is there a line of speakers to look at that are known to perform better for HT use than for CD/music use...
