I have some questions regarding HDTV. Because of my location most of my viewing will be in SDTV, with only a few HDTV stations available. From what I have seen in the past SDTV signals do not produce a very good picture on HD televisions. I looked at an HDTV the last few days that changed my...

Some players play thru less than perfect disk, some don't. I'll say that most people I know have trouble after about a year. I want one that will last thanks
I'm tired of my DVD player stopping (freezing). Watching a movie last it stopped 5 times, just froze the picture. Sometimes I can slap it and it will start back, other times it will not open or even shut down. The disk look ok. At first it would have a broken screen and most times I could fast...
I bought an SVS sub about a year ago and at first I was not all that impressed. I made the mistake of saying so on this forum and I was punched, kicked, shot, stabbed, run over, insulted, and ridiculed by almost everyone except---Ron & Tom. The reason I was not all that impressed is because of...
I have a bose wave radio with a clock and alarm, I guess that's what you've asked about. Worst money I have ever spent. Unlike some other buyers that will not admit it, I admit it, I fell for the hype and I got screwed. You can buy the same quality for less that $100
Is your HT system in the bathroom? Is the floor around your HT system wet? Are you plugging in a hand drill? a hairdryer? an iron? Are you going to put it in your mouth? If no, then use the cheater plug and forget it. Otherwise we'd all be dead.
The last few DVD movies I watched the center channel was missing. After I opened and closed the DVD player it started working again. Anyone had this problem? I've only had the HK-520 about a week.
Is there any way to set up the SPL for the Sub-Woofer. Where is the test tone? Manual said to use Avia, and Avia doesn't have a Sub tone to set by. Do I have to buy another test disk?
If turning on your stove or dishwasher makes your amp shut down then you need to fix this electrical problem before you burn the house down. All three should(?) be on different circuits so you must have a main panel problem.
Anyone had an experence with Lighting damage to their electronics. I had a direct hit that knocked out half the breakers in the elec. panel and all the ground fault switches. The TV and the AVR are both dead. My question is can these be fixed properly or am I asking for headaches down the road...
I have a Denon 2801 (till lighting hit it) and I watched movies anywhere from -15 to -6 Never heard any strain. Music tops was about -10 and that was loud.
I found on this forumn that I can buy a HK 520 AVR for about $650. Good price I think. I have listened to HK and they do seem to have a very good sound. Compared to many other brands they seem to stand out. I have heard that quality problems have plagued HK in the past. All I need is a simple...
I have heard the HK and it does sound better than almost any other popular brands. I would have most likely bought an HK to begin with except I heard they had quality problems. Turns out Denon wasn't that great either. I just don't want any problems, I don't want to listen to the wife.
Lightning killed my Denon 2801. I think I'll replace it with another brand because it had a few problems anyway. What is the best for about $600.00? thanks
I bought a 25-31 pci and it has NOT changed my home theater life. It's a good sub for the money no doubt, and the SVS guys are right there if you need them.
Reading all the rave reviews and praise (almost love) bestowed on these subs will cause many people to buy them---but---many people will...
Yes s-cable from monitor out on AVR to video 1 on TV--TV set to video 1
It all worked the day before??
Checked both s-cables
You are correct, I think I can connect a regular rca jack from AVR to TV and get on-screen display.
It's just got me stumped because it all worked fine one day and...
