Hey guys, I know I haven't posted in some time, but I just started getting into DIY and remembered these forums. Coincidentally, I also just got back into XboxLIVE. :)
So, whether anybody wants to add me onto the list or not, I'm just going to give you guys my LIVE handle and the games I have...
Wow, James, I'm surprised to see it, but your opinions are very very close to mine. Typically people argue my opinions, but yours match mine pretty well. The fact that you even mention Hitman2 and Deathrow is shocking. I'm glad to see other people besides myself enjoyed those two games. Also...
AWESOME! I'll be playin Live with you guys in two weeks from today. Thanks for the great news and input, I appreciate it. See ya around the forum! ;) :emoji_thumbsup:
Well, the views I have of PS2 are from my experiences with it, and I've just never come around to it the way everybody else did. The games are too shallow for my taste, which is really too bad. I tried many times to force myself into liking it but...I just couldn't. Sorry.
Andrew, NFL2k3 is the best I hear, and that's what I'm getting. It's Live, and it's simply awesome. Doug, don't sell your Xbox, it's got Live, and that's simply reason enough. PS2, in my opinion, is far too overrated. The hardware capabilities are subpar, and the game experience is as well...
I'll have my WET11 and Live all ready to go in about two weeks. I can't wait to hop online with you guys, either. I'm also looking forward to one of those cool gamertags, if anybody were willing to make one for me when I go Live. :D
Well, I'm hoping that they keep the payment at $50 a year, because that's a perfectly manageable payment for most people, as opposed to $10 a month.
The problem with voice maskign for everybody is the people who use the really annoying tones of voice, such as the whiny child...
Tim and Tony, I appreciate the feedback, guys! Man, I love this board. The maturity here is FAR above that of the old gaming board I used to attend for years.
Tony, my situation sounds almost exactly like yours, except I don't know if you have DSL or not. I have cable, but everything else you...
How's it going, guys? I plan on buying Live and a Linksys WET11 within the next two weeks but I have some questions that I've been dying to know the answers to. Hopefully, I can find some answers here, but if not, it's all gravy anyway.
First, I'm wondering how the lag is on Live with the...

By the way, I've posted here before and have just gotten around to coming back (thanks to my good bro who is a frequent member here in the HT section, Scott Simonian, who got me...
This stuff is strongly intriguing...and creepy as hell, too. I hate seeing the future mapped out in front of me, but a lot of it just kept me wanting to read more into the future.
And my biggest laugh was the "Orgasm by Email"...HA! All I have to say is if that technology ever rolls along, I...
See, this is exactly what I hate in the gaming industry: Having a game that was announced for my supported console get swept off the face of the earth due to an asshole competitor wanting to keep it exclusive. Sony can kiss my collective ass.
But if it does come to Xbox, I am sure as...
Here's what I'm looking for: A kick-ass PC that will last me a while. I want to be able to play today's PC games.
Also, I want the Xbox's online plan to launch. Hell, Xbox has some of the greatest games I've ever played (If you ask me, GT3 doesn't have anything on PGR). But I need a job, also...
Recently, I've found my tastes in gaming are becoming more and more picky. I decided on an Xbox above the other two next-gen consoles back in December due to its advanced hardware, quality titles, and because of its producer: Microsoft. But past its launch, things have been rather shallow. And I...
In my opinion, Gamespot is far from a respectable review source. They tend to be rather biased in their writings (favoring the PS2, 95% of the time) and are never too up to date.
I hate to say it, but I have found that IGN is the best gaming news voice on the net. Too bad, I suppose. :frowning:
