Tim, most vcr's go to the auxillary input if you go down from channel 2. Example... channel 4, channel 3, channel 2, channel Aux. It might not say Aux, it might be L1 or something similar.

    Subwoofer Repair?

I'm not sure about JBL, but the fuse should be located under a small knob (dime size) near the power cord. It will unscrew counterclockwise and the fuse will be connected to the end.

I use the Lutron infrared light switch (Maestro?) with my Pronto remote. I have it programed with macros with preset light levels, for example, If I push play for the dvd player, the light will turn off. If I push pause, the light will dim to level 3. If I push stop, the light will turn all the...

What to use to 'push' wire through ceiling?

Chad, you can try using a sinker from a fishing tackel box. Tie a string to it and either throw it or use a slingshot. It may take several throws but you will eventually have your drawstring over your hole for your speaker wire. Attach your wire and pull it back. Also, a fishing reel and line...

Zen, When I bought my futon a couple years ago, I was set on a "Cloud 9" memory foam mattress. I did extensive research and thought that was my best option. When I went to the futon store to buy the frame and mattress, I tested several different mattresses, including my top choice. I did not...

    Cable Mess Help needed!

Oswald, Don't overlook the resale possability. You may want to sell your house one day and it will be a lot easier with a nice terminated wall setup instead of a bunch of wires sticking out of a hole. Also if your equipment gets disconnected "accidently" what would you rather reconnect to, a...

I've got a spot on the screen! Help!

Eugene, Does the spot appear at all when the tv is off? Maybe something bounced off the screen. My RPTV had an impact to the screen protector which left a small line that glowed when the lights were off. The mark is barely noticable now, you have to look for it to see it.

    Subwoofer location problem

You have another option, crown molding. You could run a cable up the inside of the front wall, go around the room inside crown molding, and go down the inside of the back wall.
