The season 2 box set has been out a while on R2.

The eXistenZ:SE with all the extras of the canadian R1 were on the R2 release last year.

No the Region 1 copy i picked up on saturday was fine, excellent dvd all round sound and picture wise.

Speed 2 was one of the worse sequel's, up there with Batman & Robin, it would be a waste of a special edition.

I used to download a lot of albums but have stopped and only bother with a few cool albums every few months. I still buy a lot of music on cd, but the vast majority of it is promo or advance copies. That way I have found a lot of new acts i would not have listen to or now like.;)

This is as cool a special edition as Rushmore. There are also a few outtakes on the second disc, one of them with Ben Stiller in character with the twins saying welcome to this Criterion Collection dvd.

Managed to pick Innerspace on the weekend. I have managed to watch the film with and without commentary. First the new 2001 transfer of the film is stunning as is the new audio transfer. The extras are limited, cast and crew info, a 90 second trailer but you do get a very ammusing commentary...

Steve Baron did a commentary recently for Mike Bassett: England Manager on R2. So they should at least role out the special features on this. A few music videos, making of and of cause a commentary by Steve Barron, Lenny von Dohlen & Virginia Madsen.;)

The R3 release has been edited for violent content, thus edited.

The Special Edition DVD is going to be released first on R2. Which make ammends with the bare bones R3(Edited) and the R1 release.

The R3 is out now, saw it in China Town Today.

The uk gets Speed:SE and Predator:SE on the 3rd June, so not to far off, both are released sooner than R1 or once.

Would go with 1. Aliens 2. Abyss 3. Brazil 4. Bladerunner 5. Rushmore (Criterion) 6. Buckaroo Banzai:SE 7. Robocop:SE (Current R2 release) 8. Brotherhood of the Wolf:SE (French R2 3DVD) but i own same many cool classic films, it's to damn hard just to pick 8 films.
