OK then. That makes more sense. Anyway, my thoughts on Rock at the Oscars: Funny stuff, although I don't think he's a good fit for Oscar. I LOVE some of his intros ("I bet you can't take your eyes of these next four presenters. Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek!").
Did anyone catch this? Tim Robbins caught giving the bird to Chris Rock. Good natured fun? Or just plain old nasty hate? I'm inclined to think the latter.
Well, I'm just heartbroken. I pin the loss on Marty's shoulders. I'd push that ball as far as I can, and then give it to my rookie kicker. No need to super conservative there. Still, I thank the Bolts for a great run. With a couple key additions in FA and a couple draft picks, I think we...

The thought of the Bolts in the playoffs make me giddy. Although Brees looked like his old, shaky self against the Broncos, they still pulled off the W. The Bolts of old would have given that game away. The past three games, all divisional, have been tough, and no doubt luck has played into...
My take on Brees vs. Rivers. I'd like to keep Brees for at least another year. I guess that means franchising him. His run this season has been nothing short of amazing. However if you kept both QBs and LT, and you figure you have to pay Gates mucho dinero, you're stuck with salary cap...
The Chargers are in 1st place in the AFC West. Out of their next 5 games, only the Indy game looks tough. The rest? Winnable. What planet am I on? What is this team that makes big plays, converts on 3rd down with regularity, and refuses to give up. These aren't the Chargers I'm used to...
The Station Agent
Finally got around to seeing this. Great movie. It reminded me a lot of Lost in Translation, where each of the main characters struggle with loneliness, and find some sort of break in the company of each other. It moves along at quiet pace, yet never drags.
My Rating: ****
The Bolts open a can of whoop-ass on the Raiders... Note to Marty, when your team is up by 4 TDs in the final quarter, take your starters OUT! That is all.
8 1/2
Talk about expanding horizons.
I'll be honest. This movie left me with a "wtf?!" feeling throughout. It was confusing. I tuned out at times.
It's also my first Fellini, and I'm thinking that maybe I should watch his earlier films, then go back to this. I can't say I liked this...
So many: It all started with 24. I got the first disc from the first season from Netflix. Bought the DVD soon thereafter. Never looked back. Since then, I've discovered: The Sopranos is one of the best shows ever. Six Feet Under is TWISTED, but great. Coupling and The Office prove...
Fear the Bolts! What team am I watching? Dropping 30+ points for the 2nd straight week. But while LT is LT, Brees is playing as if his job depended on it, and Gates is fast becoming one of the premier TEs in the NFL.
I checked Amazon and it says that S3 is coming out November 8. One month earlier. Is this right? Has anyone heard anything about this? Or is Amazon pulling my chain...yet again? Here's the link
The last movie I saw in theaters was Kill Bill Vol. 2. There's just been too much going on that I haven't been able to make time to see anything. That, and a lot of these movie are more of the "Wait-For-The-DVD" variety... Though I will see Garden State tomorrow. Can't wait!
Truly a shocker to hear this. I remember the first time I heard "Superfreak". Sadly it was otherwise known as "Can't Touch This". But the more I listened to his music, the more he deserved the title of True Funkmaster. RIP, dude.
