http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...M0&refer=japan This article is a bit alarmist...I wonder how this is going to come out in the wash....seems to be a bit of anti-sony backlash in the media as of late.
"At last count, gamers under the age of 18, as in those most likely to have the console bought for them, are now the smallest gaming demographic. Face it, gamers have grown up and a good amount of them have the money to spend." Does anyone have any concrete sources on this? I find this...
I'd say a large amount of people buying PS3 will already have X-Box 360. I agree that a lot of "midnight" buyers will likely own both units, but after the initial surge of sales, the soccer moms will be out in force. And to a lot of them, $200 is going to be a deal breaker. I just can't see...
"$200 is hardly enough to sway any consumer unless of course they are mislead by those who suggest there wont be any performance advantage or better games on the PS3." This is a ridiculous statement. $200.00 is HUGE to the moms and dad's out there who are looking to placate their kids who...
One simple question for haters of the show. Why do you care that other people enjoy the show? I don't look at the Simpson thread as I don't particularily find the show worth my time so it's hard to understand why so much time and effort is spend bad mouthing a show that is so "derivative" and...
ugh. Love Al's contentment in the final scene. Laughing out loud at work here just thinking about it....pfft indeed. I am starting to lean towards Al's involvement with Mrs I. He did seem to give up on Alma's claim pretty easily in Season One. Maybe he never gave up on it at all?
Yes. Good point. Where was Miss I from? Chicago? She definately seems very angry/upset about being let go. There has to be something to it, and with the conversation with Silas, it definately points towards a conspiracy.
Mrs. I looked scared. I wonder if she was sent there on someone's orders? Now that she got herself canned she won't be able to eavesdrop on Alma's plans. That has to put her in a predicament, depending of course, on who her "employer" is.
So a guy right out of school cuts into a guys stomach and performs surgery? Wild stuff. You are right though, just watched the show again (TIVO'd for the wife) and they are surgical interns. My bad.
Why would a surgical resident freeze up due to a patient having a grand mal seizure, and then subequently vomit all over the street? Have they never been in a hospital before? These aren't green rookies here, they are surgical residents. Too many cliche's here, but I am willing to give it...
Well, finish your thought. Did you turn it off because you had some errands to run? Did you have to go to work? What point are you trying to make? I laughed a lot at this episode. Granted, I have never seen the British version but I have always gotten a kick out of Steve Carrel. Favourite...
I agree with this. Where exactly were the weak performances? The main female lead was excellent, Dominic Monaghan was solid, and I thought all the supporting characters were well done. To be fair, I don't think we have seen enough of the fringe characters to really judge them, but from the...
Wow, way to give it a chance. Unless you know something about the reveal, I can't see how you can call it Godzilla Island. As to how they can keep the show going??? Well they can rebuild a civilization, they could have warring factions, they can run into existing civilizations on the island...
This was a great show. I can't even begin to imagine what is happening on this island. So excited for next weeks conclusion. My sis and I were watching it and we both were commenting on the endless possibilities a show like this could take. Awesome.
That was a great episode. Gerald is great, and to think he has been on tv up here for years....I loved the swayze and 7-0 comments. It couldn't have been written and rehearsed any better than that. There is some real greatness to this show and I am bummed that more people aren't enjoying it.
