Nice. I look at these and and just think to myself, one day, one day, one day. One day that day will come. Want to come to TN and finish a basement for me? They love foreigner accents down here. :) Doug
I have been using Furthur for the past year or so and have gotten some good stuff. I really don't get into Phish, GD, or DMB but there is a ton of it on Furthur. I am really into Neil Young. That guy is an amazing artist. I don't have my list posted but I probably have around 20-30 shows. I also...
I second that. My favs: Neil Young - Harvest (I think Harvest Moon is still better) Tool - Undertow and Lateralus Alison Krauss + Union Station - Live (acutually anything by AKUS is good) Willie Nelson - Red Headed Stanger (the VH1 Storytellers w/ Johnny Cash is great too) Metallica -...
No, it wasn't that performance. This was a live performance for CMT in Nashville. They did 10 songs. All the songs they performed are on the Live CD however. That Katie Cook ditz would not shut up. They really didn't need a host, I didn't think. Man she can sing and Jerry Douglas can play. Doug
I ordered my receiver from them because they had the lowest prices. They aren't an authorized retailer for anyone I don't think. So, if you have a problem you might have some problems. I guess about a year ago they had a bunch of TV's on their site then one day they were gone. I emailed and...
I know he has been in and out of the hospital recently. I haven't heard about this one today. I know he is in really poor health. Maybe he will pull through this one too. Doug
Well, I am originally from West Tennessee and my mom is from Germantown. I don't know what part of Memphis you found "leisurely and friendly" drivers. I have never found any of them in Memphis. Glad you liked it though. I have friends who live there that absolutely hate it. I have lived in TN my...
I would say Ebay or Ubid. My only problem with Ubid is their shipping. They will rip you a new on shipping. I am interested to see if anyone else has any great links. Doug
Actually TY disks are blue or green. But anyway, you can go read all about them here:
CD-R Dye
and
CD-R Quality
I don't know of any B&M places in Toronto but I have several links for websites that sell quality discs at fair prices. If you want them let me know.

I wouldn't install XP with only 128mb of ram. It will run SO slowly. Atleast mine did when I tried it. I would get another stick of atleast 128mb of ram, then backup all data, format c:, reinstall everything. That is always my approach when dealing with MS. However, I heard XP supposedly did a...
I use NTFS and have been for about 2 years and I never defrag. I probably should but I usually run until my hard drive is full, backup important files, format, reinstall everything all over. That usually happens about once every six months and has taken place over the last 8 years. Back when Win...
Download and install Adaware Run it weekly. I don't like NAV but that is me. I use AVG Antivirus It automatically updates and scans all incoming and outgoing email and it's FREE.
I tried ZoneAlarm one time and hated it. I went out and bought a DI-704P and it is much less intrusive than...
Dude get a Dell. Compaq is crap IMHO and Sony isn't much better. I, like others, would build my own but that is just me. I wouldn't touch the others. Doug
I am not really interested in buying any but I am hoping to start construction on my own sometime soon. I would be interested in some pics. I hope to make mine out of some walnut that my dad has purchased. My wife won't let me mount my speakers to the wall in our new house. So, before I can set...
In addition to the other links provided, you might want to check out Arstechnica. I recommend users from there over here all the time so I figure I will recommend you to there. Here is a link to the case forum.

I am pretty sure if you log in as the Administrator you can see whatever you want. Otherwise, you would have to log into you parents account, install a password cracker program such as LC4 from l0pht, and run it until it finds the password. I have run it on my machine to see how long it took it...
Yeah, I heard it a month or two ago but I don't shop for my computers at Wal-Mart so I don't know if they do or not. I have installed several versions of Linux before and I can't believe that "Lindows" could be much easier. I could be wrong and probably am but, I think they are asking for...
My roommate and I did this in college with sub par results. However, it was a Kid Rock concert (don't laugh please) so I couldn't get it on CD. My advice, if you can get them on CD is to just buy the CD you will be much happier. If you insist on doing this, your tape deck will need analog out...
Neil Young: Journey Through The Past Time Fades Away On The Beach American Stars'n'Bars Hawks & Doves Re-ac-tor Can you tell that I like Neil Young. But the LP's are good enough for now. Doug
Well, lo and behold this morning I go out and the stupid little green lights are back on. Somehow, someway, they are lined up again. I think I might try that 2 in apart thing. I am really not worried about shutting the door on my car. I have figured out how to open and close it manually and as I...
John, You have to have a burner that will recognize CD-Text. My old HP would not. My new Lite On will. I use Nero. It is the best thing that I have found for burning any kind of CD. Doug
