What would be more significant in sound quality, improving the speakers to the JBL S-36 or S-38 all around or getting a HK 525 or Sony DA4ES receiver? The receiver that I have now plays my music plenty loud, but I want better sound quality at these levels. Thanks.

I hear it throughout the game. However, the catch is I have the speaker wire that came with my NSP1 speaker package. I think something like 22 or 24 gauge. So upgrading it to 12 gauge would probably stop the hissing, right?

I already have one Sony SA-WM40, and my room is around 13x13, and don't know if the sw-15 would be too much.
