Our Local stores are having a big meeting on Wednesday. They are doing it during the stores normal operating time so something big must be going on. Anyone have a clue? Going out of business, closing stores?

    Would this work? (6.1 set-up)

Would this work? Later this month I'm planning on replacing my Onkyo TXDS 595 with either the TXSR 700 or 800. Both of these receivers are 6.1 so I'm trying to figure out how to add the rear center. I bought a new couch, and based on room design it will need to sit about 8 inches from the rear...

    Faroudja Chipset

rather simple question. i'm thinking about picking up the Panny 72 or 82 and have a question about the chip. i plan on hooking the unit up via s-video until i get a new TV and was wondering if the Faroudja chip only helps with a progressive picture or does it improve all video output? Thanks Jeff

    Polk Audio

I have a question about the LSI9's. If I'm not mistaken they are 4ohm speakers. Would this cause them to run poorly if I hook them upto my Onkyo 595? I was planning on buying the Polk RTI70's, but found a deal on the LSI9's for $207 each and after all the rave reviews I'm tempted to get them...
