I root for House too, and I'm pretty sure I know why....because its a TV show. Its not real. I think its hilarious that the character is so blatantly sarcastic and I find that entertaining. Besides, the show makes him out to be quite the bastard but every once and a while they show some emotion...

I found myself getting pretty excited during the game when Sarecen went in as well. Like has been said...its dramatic football. We know the characters now and have a reason to root for them...which makes the show all the more interesting to me.

That scene definitely stuck out as well as when the coach goes back to the hospital to see the injured QB. The interaction just seems to ring true for me. Like you guys said, its very raw and honest and flows well with the style they have chosen for filming and editing.

Agreed, this one really sucked me in right away. I loved the movie and am a sucker for sports flicks and shows so this one is a definite for me. It was also able to pull off some nice emotional scenes without being overly sappy. Looking forward to next week for sure.
