I just stumbled across a R4-release while browsing Atlantic dvd. It's cheap, and it's 16:9. Can't seem to find any review of it anywhere, but like I said it's cheap so I ordered it anyway.

Be aware that the movie is split over 2 discs..... That's the price you pay for full-rate DTS I guess

I'm betting this is why Geldof & Co were reluctant to connect it to Live Aid in the first place. Because, frankly it could never get as good as the first time. Anyhow, I think the list is fairly impressive. Particulary the London lineup. And it's not a complete list yet

I'm getting this, and I'm NOT the biggest fan of the movie. (I think I might have had a bit of reaction to the extensive hype.....). But I'm very interested in the extensive background-material which will be included, and not least the new commentary-track. Ridley does terrific commentaries...

Thought I'd let those of you with multi-region capabilities know that there is a R3-version out now with DTS(96/24) and DD5.1 EX. It seems to have all the extras as the R1 as well. On a movie like this, I'd imagine the DTS-track would make a difference

Sam, That's correct. I don't think any Dualdiscs have even been released over here. And from what I've read on amazon, quite a few of the Dualdisc released in the US have been R1-coded. (And for the record: I love this album, but 'Reno' is not a favourite)
