The interface is probably much different from textpad, but it's very powerful. You can also get modules for color syntax.

are you sure that it's not possible to set channel levels without the test tones? On my marantz 5200 there's a menu item called 'channel levels' or something like that so you can adjust individual channels without hearing the tones.
Onkyo has at least one receiver that will actually convert a composite signal to s-video. Barring component signals, you can then connect the reciever to your TV with s-video and connect any source to the reciever.
I like the Klipsch as well. I'm getting the reference set rf-3 II, etc. If space permits, I'd suggest checking out the RF-3's which list for the same as the rb-5's but are floorstanding. imo, the rb's don't sound as full.
I'll be getting the Marantz 5200 at the end of this week along with a pair of Klipsch RF3's so i'll let you know. The dealers insist that the Marantz is a much better value than Denon or Onkyo in that price range (these were the other two brands I was considering as well) but I have no way of...
Does anybody have a model number for that KLH reciever? The only one in my best buy is $100, the R 3000. I know it's just a twenty dollar difference, but want to make sure i'm getting the right one.
