Bob, How do you like the 898. I'm very pleased w/mine, but there's so many features/adjustments that it takes awhile to learn all the capabilities of the unit. Have you messed around with teaching the Onkyo remote commands from otehr remotes? I follwed the instructions, but it didn't work...

SVS wall hanging: a complete review

Don't forget to factor in the Fletcher-Munson human hearing perception curves when deriving your house curve. Also, you MUST add the sq footage of the rooms that your HT listening room opens up to when trying to decide if you need one or two SVS wall hangings, that being the case, you might be...

    SVS 16-46PC/LFE level/Avia question

Hi Colin, Ryan, Glad to hear my setup is not unusual . . yes, I'm using the subwoofer 'trim' adjustment on my rcvr (not the LFE), which ranges +/- 15db as well as the vol/gain dial on the 16-46PC to get 85dB from the sub. It just suprises me that I have to dial these settings relativiely low...

Hi Bruce, when taking the readings i was careful to eliminate all ambient noise (I even had to turn of my heating system). To verify, throughout my readings I would check for ambient noise by setting my SPL to it's lowest setting (60) and checking for noise - none registered on the meter...
