O.K., here's the super secret scoup dudes. Lucas is going to film Episode III on a 30 million dollar budget(to compensate for inflation since '77)and match ANH with likewise technology.

Don't forget "Lords of the Ring" by STYX. As a matter of fact all the songs on "Pieces of Eight" are better than Track 1, which is still way overplayed.

It does act as a sealant IMO. The "ink" stays on and doesn't flake. As far as sonic/visual improvements? I don't know. I just know I like the stuff and feel better with it on.
