    Cable question

    I have used both on the same system and I myself cant tell the Diff. The only thing is that Optical is more prone to damage (wich I have done) and now useing Coax Cable as for what is the best noooo wont get into that you will hear a ton of answers on that.

    I have a Marantaz SR5200 ...Before I get stones thrown at me, mine works and does very well. With this unit I get PL2 and 6.1 I paid $775CDN wich should make it around $500US and should fall into the price of the outlaw Just a thought And PL2 is worth it.

    Okay now if I were to make a patch cord myself that long say 20 feet useing Speaker wire will this work or will I run into Trouble ?? Sorry if its a stupied Question just trying to see how to do it without spending a lot.

    Question... Have a older Sub collecting dust so I hooked it up to my rear suround speakers thur the speaker wire in/out on the Sub. Iam getting perty good results but,Would I do better useing the Pre out- RCA Rear Surounds on The Amp and useing a Patch cord to the sub? Thanks for the Help

    I used to surf the audioview a lot and have found it slowly getting worse every time I go there. I find most review sites all the same and given up on them. I read this Fourm and a couple others now and the Info here is a lot more real than any place I can find, I also get a lot of good advise...

    You no I was thinking about this Audio drop out I read somewere cant remeber maybe here ....Anyway that the Yamaha model 1000 I think has trouble with Toshiba audio and they are working on a fix (Yamaha)... So maybe it has more to with the Receiver than the Player .... just a thought.

    I have a 3205 it gets horible reviews but I love it, play the hell out of it and no troubles had it for 2years one clich is, the picture pauses for a 1/2sec I think durning layer change but Iam use to it dosnt bother me, but no sound troubles.

    Need Help accessing S-Video display on older 36" Proscan

    Just a thought..Did you go thur the setup menu mine had a (use with VCR) (use with DVD) and I picked the input to use 1or2 also if I rember mine picked up the SVideo righ away hope this is of some help.
